Exporting an assessment

Export the questions from an assessment

1. Go to the Tests & Quizzes tool.
2. In the Assessment list, select Export from the Actions dropdown menu for the selected assessment. Note that this option is available only for Draft versions of Assessments
3. Select QTI v 1.2
4. Click Export
5. A zip file named exportAssessment.zip will be created

If the assessment uses question pool(s), all the questions from the pool(s) will be exported, regardless of how many were selected to be used.

Exporting a question pool

Question pools cannot be directly exported from ReggieNet. In order to export a question pool, you must create a draft assignment that pulls the questions from the pool you wish to save. You can then export the assessment as described above. When the assessment is imported into Canvas, you can then create a Question Bank there.

Saving student scores and submissions

You can export student answers for an assessment. The file will contain columns with the students' names, start and submit times, total score, part scores (if applicable), and answers and grader comments for each question. Note that the text of the questions is not included in the export file.

1. On the Tests & Quizzes page, select Scores from the Actions dropdown menu for the selected assessment.
2. Select the Export tab.
3. Click Export
4. An Excel file with the name "Assessment-quizname-YYYYMMDD" will be created.
