For Your Students: Taking a Test or Quiz in ReggieNet
Guide available for instructors to provide student support in their course sites. Please direct all student inquiries to the Technology Support Center.
Canvas
Canvas will replace ReggieNet as Illinois State's official leaning management system in the fall of 2023. On Friday, August 18, ReggieNet will be switched to a read-only mode. Instructors will still be able to access and download past courses but will not be able to make changes or add new users. ReggieNet will be retired after November 30, 2023.
Open only one window and one browser. Students should be looking at only the testing screen and not be clicking Lessons, Resources, or any other tools in ReggieNet while taking a test.
Save the answers as often as possible. If the questions are all displayed on one page, the Save button will be at the bottom of the page. Students should periodically click Save and then scroll back up to continue answering questions.
Not log in to ReggieNet from multiple tabs, multiple browsers, or multiple devices (e.g., computer AND mobile devices).
Not use any mobile devices.
Not use your browser’s Back and Forward buttons.
Wait for a confirmation number. After clicking Submit for Grading, wait for the submission screen that includes the confirmation number. If you close ReggieNet before seeing this screen, your test may not be recorded.
If you have any issues while taking a test, please contact University Technology Support Center at 438-4357.
Taking an assessment setup in one question per page or one part per page in ReggieNet
Before moving on to the proceeding page, click on the Save button at the bottom of the page before clicking on the Next button. NOTE: Even though ReggieNet saves each page before loading the next page, it is a good habit to do this manually each time.
To view unanswered questions, click on the Table of Contents in the horizontal tool bar at the top of the page. From the Table of Contents you can return to answer unanswered questions or return to previously answered questions to change answers.
From the list of questions, click on the specific question that you wish to return to and ReggieNet will return you to that page.
When you have finished the exam, click on Submit for Grading to submit the assessment.
