Addy is a Ph.D. student in the English department with a specialization in Rhetoric and Writing. Originally from West Virginia, Addy received her BA in English from Cedarville University and her MA in Rhetoric and Writing from The University of Findlay, both in Ohio. Addy has taught introductory composition, advanced composition, technical communication, and rhetoric as civic literacy courses. She is also the assistant editor for Rhetoric Review. Addy’s current research is in cultural and digital rhetorics.
Outside of her work at the Center and in the English department, Addy likes to go on walks, watch 2000s TV shows, and spend time with her cats, Emmy and Astrid.
At the Center for Integrated Professional Development, Addy helps support instructors’ use of the university’s learning management system and associated technologies.
