Professional Development
CIPD offers tailored programs and events to support instructors’ professional growth across teaching, research, and curriculum development. These experiences help educators enhance student success through evidence-informed pedagogy.
Services
CIPD provides personalized services to course instructors at every stage of their careers to enhance teaching and learning, including one-on-one consultations, mid-term student feedback sessions, graphic design and production, and OpScan services.

CIPD, in collaboration with UTC and campus partners, offers awards and grants to support innovative teaching and recognize excellence in teaching and SoTL.
Early Career Certificate Program
Pre-tenure and non-tenure-track faculty with a start date of August 2022 or after are invited to join the Early Career Certificate Program (ECCP). The program provides opportunities to build teaching expertise, expand your campus network, and connect with resources that support long-term career success at Illinois State.
