Jill Messamore joined the Center for Integrated Professional Development (CIPD) as the Technical and Professional Communication Coordinator in October 2024. Prior to joining the department, she worked in the College of Education. She earned her B.S. in Mass Communication from Illinois State University, with a minor in Writing. Jill’s previous work experience includes marketing, communication, and event planning. She has worked in the insurance and agriculture industries.
Away from work, Jill can be found sitting on the sidelines cheering on one of her two sons while they play sports or visiting Lake of the Ozarks with family. She loves physical activity, working out, spending time with her boys, and watching college sports.
As the Technical and Professional Communications Coordinator for the Center for Integrated Professional Development, Jill provides a wide range of communications for the CIPD, ensuring a consistent message about teaching and learning initiatives across the University community. She works closely with the Director of Scholarly Teaching and the Director of Online Education to help promote important messaging related to professional development topics to and for the faculty community.
