Teaching philosophy

To construct a learning environment that fosters critical thinking, the ability to apply knowledge, and ultimately create lifelong learners.

Three most valuable approaches that I bring to my teaching practice

Find relevant examples so that students can relate to and apply concepts.

Take time to reflect after every class. Write down what went well, what could have gone better, and what you will do next time.

Have an open door. Never let students feel as though they can’t approach you.

Most rewarding aspect of teaching for me is

Seeing students’ knowledge and confidence grow. It’s so fulfilling to watch a person’s growth and know I had a part in it.

Best moment in my teaching career

To me, seeing a student finally understand a topic makes all the effort worth it.

One teaching technique or strategy that I would recommend to my colleagues to enhance student learning the most is

Always be willing to make adjustments to meet your students’ needs!
