Dear Instructor,
It’s been a busy summer. Some of us haven’t had the time to begin working on our Canvas course sites for fall. If that’s you, then we’ve got you covered.
The Center for Integrated Professional Development now has a series of guides featuring the essentials to help you build out your Canvas course sites. Each guide includes step-by-step instructions along with screen captures and tutorial videos. These include:
We’re offering dozens of workshops from now through the first two weeks of classes covering a wide variety of Canvas-related topics. These include walk-in office hours and special “quick start” sessions (both online and in-person) to help you cope with any bumps once classes start. Visit the Canvas workshops section of the Center’s Short Courses page for dates, times, and how to register (if necessary).
Extensive teaching support is available on the Center for Integrated Professional Development’s Canvas Instructional Support pages.
The Center’s support team is available to assist instructors and staff Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at ProDev@ilstu.edu or (309) 438-2542.
Instructors should send their students to the Technology Support Center for assistance using Canvas. The TSC can assist all users on campus with basic technology concerns, like logging into Canvas or installing mobile apps.
