About Abigail
Biography
An Illinois State University alumna, Abigail received her Bachelor of Arts in English Education in 2022. After a few years of teaching in high school ELA classrooms, Abigail joined University of Illinois Extension as a communications coordinator. There, she developed a passion for storytelling—specifically for sharing how educational initiatives improve the personal and professional lives of the people in her community.
Abigail returned to ISU in 2026 to step into the role of the Technical and Professional Communication Coordinator for the Center for Integrated Professional Development. Additionally, Abigail is working toward a Master of Science in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Function at the Center
Working collaboratively with others to develop and execute strategic communication plans, Abigail highlights the Center’s initiatives and shares instructional support resources across a variety of platforms. She manages the Center’s social media, writes articles for the Center, and helps maintain the Center’s website.
