Generative Artificial Intelligence, or GenAI, has profoundly impacted how we teach and how our students learn. The issues represented by these powerful tools range from the concerning to the empowering. GenAI holds the potential to reshape not just notions of academic honesty, but even blurs the lines of fact and fiction far beyond anything humans have achieved unaided. At the same time, GenAI offers efficiencies and gives teachers, scholars, and students potential agency in their endeavors in ways never thought possible.
