Every summer, the Center for Integrated Professional Development and campus partners offer professional development for teaching and learning. These tailored programs and events, delivered in a variety of formats, help educators enhance student success through evidence-informed pedagogy.

Summer Institute 2026

Programs will include Course Design Cohorts, Workshops and Workshop Series, Technology Upskilling, and Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.

Course Design Cohorts

Engage in a multi-session, facilitated learning experience to design or redesign a course to be taught in the near future. Working in a cohort, participants apply backward design and evidence based teaching practices to align learning outcomes, assessments, and learning activities.

Faculty Fellows

Engage in a day‑long learning experience led by faculty selected through a peer‑reviewed proposal process. These interactive sessions allow participants to learn from colleagues across disciplines and build connections around shared teaching and learning interests

Workshops

Engage in a single-session, hands-on learning experience focused on a specific concept or practice. Workshops are interactive, practical, and designed to spark new ideas you can apply right away.
